About KitDee

KitDee's background is in television. She managed a low power television station in the 80s and has produced dozens of TV ads which aired on all major networks; and several quality programs which aired on MCTV Channel 47, in Mendocino County, California. The television programs that she has written, directed and produced are- From the late 80s:Mendocino Max & Kids; Mendocino Highways & Byways; Mendocino House Hunt; Chef of the Week and the most recent in 2002, Caregivers Forum, which aired on Cable TV Channel 8 in Lake County. However, Kit has several local programs in production which will be airing in early 2008!

An artist by nature, It has been said about KitDee that she used, TV sets, electronics and people as a raw material and turned the notion of media overload into an aesthetic tour de force. Although she is a mischievous free spirit who loves spectacles and has blazed a trail from avant-garde music to electronic art, Kit knows when to apply it, and when to tone it down for just the desired atmosphere and event. She creates a body of work that encompasses musical performances, reconfigured video tapes, real people, pets, still shots, art work and creates a sculpture made of a TV Monitor witch fill entire rooms with flickering sights and sounds with her musical wedding extravaganza.

KitDee is also a muralist, and has created background for television ads and programs- whether Mediterranean; Hawaii; the Redwoods or a big city, the viewers will enjoy the custom view complementing the program content. She has also created mural backdrops on canvas and folding screens to give brides their ideal setting, along with a perfect memento of her special day to incorporate into her new home.
